ABOUT ME

Hi there!

I'm a 22 year old girl from the beautiful country Norway (that might explain the poor English from time to time). I absolutely love traveling, which I blame on my mother for dragging me around half the world when I was a child. I'm a solo traveler, love to meet new people and travel from place to place without being stuck there for too long.

The summer of 2010 I went on my first big journey on my own, after a short test trip to England for two weeks, interrail through Europe. I managed to stay away for fifty-ish day, poping by Denmark (Legoland with my sister, nephew and brother in law), Germany, France, (changed trains in Monaco) Italy, Austria, Hungary, back to Germany again, then flew up to Sweden and then up to Trondheim. It was probably the trip of my life and I met a lot of nice peope.

My latest travel project was Australia during christmas/new year 2010/2011. After a rough start with delaied planes, cancelled tickets and lost luggage the first ten days, I had a great trip. Perth, Adelaide, Grampians, Great Ocean Road, Melbourne, Hobart and Sydney was my destinations during my month long stay.



This blog is not only used for updating my travels, I also use it when I live abroad. In 2011 I lived six months in Beijing and studied Chinese. I didn't travel much while I was in China, I only went to Guilin, Yangshuo and Tianjin. This summer I'm moving to Taipei and I'm going to stay in Taiwan for a whole year, and hopefully I will have some time to travel this time.
