Last queen of Scotland

After a few, but nice, days in Scotland it's time to head home. Here are some the stuff I've been doing lately:

Picture time!

The day I arrived in Edinburgh, it was slightly foggy.

The day I made a run for it

One afternoon not to long ago, I had a shower and thought "there was only one person in my room when I left and he's gay", so I decided to not get properly dressed (I had my underwear on) before I walked in to the room. Funny enough, I wasn't the only one in the room - a Spanish couple had just moved in. Embarrased I ran through the room over to my bed, mumbling "it's just like a bikini right?". The guy eyeballing me got an elbow from his girlfriend while she said "it's just like a bikini". The guy still staring at me mumbled "aha".

So this weeks lesson is not to walk half naked in hostels.

Do you want to come up to my room and look at my kilt?

Scottland is still treating me nice, but I still haven't gotten my computer charged, so still no pictures. Yesterday I walked around with Eddy and two Finnish girls. It was really foggy, but we saw a lot of stuff, a nice view and had a lot of fun. Later in the evening Eddy and I met up with some Norwegians (it's a first for me to meet other Norwegians traveling) and had some ale. Yummy, ginger beer. I also tried a small piece of haggis. I liked it, definatly going to try it properly! Both of the Norwegian guys had bought themselfs a kilt, and I got to see one of the guys with it on!

Today, Eddy and I went on the free walking tour, or the pressure tour as we called it, with Georgia (or Joy as I like to call her). Nice tour, lots of interesting stories and terrible bad jokes. Now we're chilling out after lunsh at a japaneese place, before we're planning to go up to the castle.

As I said before, pictures are comming soon. See ya!

Edinburrrrgh!

My first whole day in Scotland starts today. Woho. I have no big plans and I don't know what's worth seeing here, but I guess I'll figure it out. Yesterday I met Nick and John from the States. Nice blokes. We drank beer.

Stuff I've learned about Scotland so far:
- It's raining
- I don't understand Scottish.
- The only handsome guy I've seen so far in this city is not a Scotsman, but from Liverpool.
- I don't understand Liverpoolish.
- The hostel has a free breakfast.

This morning when I was going to charge my laptop I found out I had brought my Australian adaptor. Fail. Now I have to buy one or rent one from the reception for £5. Untill then I can use the hostel laptops (they barely work).

I expect I have some pictures later nonight. Untill then - so long :)

New trip planned

Believe it or not, I've planned a new trip; this time a week to Edinburgh. As usual I will stay in a hostel (I missed sleeping in those terrible beds and all the snoring people in the room). What I'm going to do in Edinburgh between 22. and 29. April is still a big mystery, but I'll figure it out the next week.
