Port of Dandong

Hey! (it's 30 something degrees outside, slightly smoggy and way too busy)

I finally have a day of here in China and I feel crap (too many mohitos yesterday). I know it has been a while since the last time I've blogged and I'm sorry about that!

There has been so much to do and so much has been done. We have looked for an apartment, found a beautiful apartment and every thing was perfectly fine - untill the day we were going to move in. The floor was damaged by water, the sink broken and the shower didn't work properly. Gotta love it. They're fixing the floor right now, the aircon-man was here yesterday (probably the fifth time in two weeks) and tried to get the big aircon cold.
The school hasn't been to busy so far (the placement test was terrible) and the teachers are wonderful. My personal favorite is mr. 郜 (Gao4), kouyu teacher, who reminds me of my old math teacher. Mr. 毕 (Bi4) is my yuedo teacher and laughs through out the whole class and ms. 李 (Li3) is just very kind (she gives us tests all the time). The aircon in my classroom doesn't work, but it works too well in the other classroom.

Living with Paul and Edward is really nice eventhough it mainly feels like I'm their mother. I clean, I tidy and I tell them to change their underwear (one of them only changes it every 4/5 days, UGH). I wash all our clothes (they don't know how to operate washing machine) and tell them to wash the dishes after themselves.

Right now Luna is over for a visit. Hopefully she wont be stopped by the police, interrogated, taken picture of, written down and released. She is travelling to Tsingtao tomorrow morning (to visit Joakim who got married - SAY WHAT?), while I go to the great wall.

Untill next time - have fun!
