The last week I've been so busy watching the news, reading news papers, talking with people back home and preparing for tests I've completly forgotten to update my blog. However, because of what happened back home, I have had no new adventures exept for yesterday when I decidet to wax my legs.
Leg waxing in China is not leg waxing in Norway; the first place I went to they insisted on me paying per leg. The second place I went to first refuced to wax my legs because they didn't see any hair. Hello, I had forrest legs! Hairy monsters! After making them touch them (and they realized I had blonde and not black hair on my legs) they agreed waxing them. To put it this way - I'm not comming back. It was painful, not because I was waxing my legs, but because they didn't know how to do it. They used old magazines as strips (which ripped), they pulled the strips slowly and the lady tought a young girl to do it before she left the room. Yay. The front of my legs ended in the end up being poorly waxed, the back of my legs was completly forgotten. I have small bruises where they pulled the strips slowly.
After the waxing, the whole class went to an acrobatics show. Funny, but nothing I haven't seen before. Paul who clamed he didn't like it took lots of pictures throughout the show. But, as some of you might know, my goal for China is to get myself a hot German boyfriend. Yesterday I was so close, next to us there was about 40 Germans watching the show together with us. Sadly, there wasn't a single hot German guy there. Next time, next time. I ended however up talking with to guys from California (I think they were gay) who just started learning Chinese.
Tomorrow is another day and then it's weekend. Yay. I love weekends!
